How it Works

Over the summer, any books you read from the library can be added to the list on the back. This can be physical books you pick up during your booked in 30 minute session or ebooks available through BorrowBox. BorrowBox ( has special sections of books on the homepage just for Summer Stars and this is divided by reading age. These books have many copies available so there is no wait – you can get dug in!

The Prizes:

This year, when you complete your card, you can drop it back to the library and there will be a certificate at the end of the summer. If you’d like a chance at more juicy prizes there are two ways to win.

Each week, one review from Kildare will win a book voucher of €20. You can pick up a review page from your local library or print one off from here . Write down a few sentences of what you thought of the book and maybe draw us a picture and send it back digitally to your local library. You could be a winner! For more information check out our blog post on how to enter here.
