A quick introduction to our new platform!
As you may be aware, we at Kildare Libraries have already dipped our toes into the realm of social media through our Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook pages. These have been very useful for us in helping to promote events and keep people in the loop about all things libraries. However, we thought we might try something new!
So, why a blog?
Well, a blog gives us the freedom to write a little bit more than we usually would on social media. It’s that simple! Things like proper book reviews, recommendations, tutorials, and informative articles are things that we can post here that would just be a bit too long for social media (I’m looking at you, Twitter!)
We’re looking forward to seeing all our staff come together, be creative, and create lots of interesting content!
